Ariesmar 21 – apr 19
Wear the boots you’d climb a headland in, even to a basement. If the door looks twice, the fire saw you first.
Taurusapr 20 – may 20
Twelve dollars at the Saturday market, a ring with a crooked stone, and it’s yours. The one haggling on their phone doesn’t get that price, or that blessing.
Geminimay 21 – jun 20
Two crystals in one pocket. The darker one is for the message you keep drafting and not sending.
Cancerjun 21 – jul 22
Put the kettle on before you leave, with nettle or chamomile or whatever the garden gave you. The chipped mug is saved for whoever drifts home with you.
Leojul 23 – aug 22
Your name’s on a list you wrote in your own hand. Walk in like the list was a prophecy someone overheard.
Virgoaug 23 – sep 22
Let the crossed-out line on the set list stay. Do your face in the back seat by moonlight and trust the mirror less than the moon.
Librasep 23 – oct 22
Pass the aux on the Malahat. You argued for that song for six switchbacks, and the mountain didn’t care.
Scorpiooct 23 – nov 21
If they ask who played, describe the hands and the smoke. Keep the name folded in your pocket with the lighter and the sage.
Sagittariusnov 22 – dec 21
The last ferry is a rumour, but the rain is real. Walk the long way home while your hair still looks like you chose it.
Capricorndec 22 – jan 19
Press last night’s wristband into your journal like a flower. Your memory of it will be softer than the paper.
Aquariusjan 20 – feb 18
Three of them are still typing, and you’re already barefoot at the tideline. Send the pin, not another poll.
Piscesfeb 19 – mar 20
One drop of cedar oil behind the ear. The kitchen light doesn’t get a say in how you glow.
