DW

DW draws on the dusty, sample-heavy sound of Detroit beatmaking and the laid-back feel of West Coast hip-hop. Jazz loops, loose drums and off-kilter melodies sit at the heart of his sound, somewhere between a basement beat tape and a late-night session. Instrumental hip-hop with a mellow feel and a little roughness left in.
